Hello. Apart from the aging issue that the Bermuda Triangle is NOT in reality a triangle (it's just hypothetical!?), I was wondering why they call it the "Bermuda" Triangle since its 3 "points" are the Bermuda, Miami and S.Juan, P.Rico?! Why didn't they call it, perhaps, the Miami Triangle or the Puerto Rico (or Rican) Triangle............pure curiosity!!!! Rob

Bermuda sounds better, and when thinking of a triangle, people always mentally start at the apex. Miami Triangle could mean it starts there and goes south. Same thing for Puerto Rico. It all starts at the top.

Hello Gian!! Sorry for my belated reply! Nice to meet the man who is continuing the tradition of investigating this wonderful "saga"!! I got "into" the Triangle since reading age and...ehm...excuse the pun....never "emerged" again!!!! ;D ;D Thanx for the explanation....sounds fair enough. Rob
